FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your Questions Answered
We understand you may have questions about our consignment process, inventory, and services. This section provides answers to common inquiries, ensuring clarity and confidence during your visit to Heidi's Dress Shop.
How does consignment work?
At Heidi's Dress Shop, consignment allows individuals to sell their gently-used dresses through our store. We carefully select quality items and, upon sale, the seller receives a percentage of the profit, making it a win-win for everyone involved. Check the consignment agreement at the store for details.
What types of dresses do you accept?
We accept a range of dresses including formal, Homecoming, Prom, and less-than-formal wear. Our goal is to curate a diverse selection that appeals to all styles, ensuring every shopper finds something they love and can feel confident in. Consignment dresses must be clean, wrinkle-free and with no defects. Zippers and buttons must all work properly and items must smell fresh. Any items later found that do not meet the consignment criteria are subject to a reasonable cleaning or repair fee.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Should you change your mind about an item, you may bring it back, unworn and with the original tags attached, by the end of the sale day and receive store credit toward another purchase.
